I've used these for years, when all else fails these have proved to catch fish. over the years I have had a few broken hooks after repeated use, haven't found a replacement hook that fits correctly.

Catches Spanish Mackerel..
use it to two trolling rigs when I head out for Spanish Mackerel..but has worked well on Blue Runners, Bluefish, Ladyfish,& Speckled Trout.. works great when you use a very long leader over 15 ft......longer the better...no swivel mid-leader...

These spoons are very good on striped bass. I use them with a piece of white pork rind, so if the bass hits it and misses the hook they will sometimes come back for another hit. These spoons do not spin, so you don't have to worry about your line winding up if your swivel is not working 100%. I think it imitates a swimming squid, which is usually a good bait for most salt water fish. I use these spoons with a 3or 4 ft flourocarbon leader to keep the bass happy. Unfortunately, the blue fish love these things, so you always take the chance of losing them when they hit the mono leader. I have all the sizes, they work good.
