I got this as a prize for a drawing at Bass Pro. I have nothing to complain about in regards to price due to that; however, there are some flaws with the product. If it is cold outside, below 20*F then the zippers freeze up really bad and you must use your heater to warm them up before you can close the doors. I have learned to close the zippers when you pack up the hut and that should solve the problem a bit with sticky zippers. They still may need to be heated in order to close easily. The handles on the zipper break extremely easy to, I have broken two of them and one of the others is bent due to sticky zippers. You will need to replace them with tougher zipper handles if possible. The tent poles that they use for the ceiling of the hut are a bit flimsy as well. I have had one of them split at the end when putting the hut up and you can be gentle with them, it won't matter.
The product is extremely easy to use and it fits in the back of my car which are a couple reasons why I enjoy it. It's pretty lightweight and you can stack your supplies on top of it to use it like a sled. Overall, the quality of the product isn't that great but it's really easy to use.

Would be nice but needs some more thought. The zippers don't work when below 15 degrees and the little pulls break right off, the roof bow design sucks in the sidewalls so it confines the inside space quite a bit and the floor is pretty soft so if you put a chair in it and it's on snow instead of solid ice it flexes alot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by OhioBanker Great Shanty
The first shanty I owned and loved it. I used my Clam Corp 2000 to ice fish various lakes in Central Ohio and enjoyed having a shanty large enough to fit me and a friend comfortably (I am 6'2") but packs up small enough to fit in my 4 door sedan. Two things I would change are: The tent poles used to pop the top up slit at the ends making them harder to work with, and the metal bars on both end that are used to make the shanties structure suffered from extreme oxidation to the point where it was sticking pretty badly after only two years of use. I bought the competitors version of the Clam 2000 (the black colored ones) and although there was enough space to fish 3 people the set up was not as easy as Clam Corp 2000.

No, there aren't any seats built into this shelter. The two things that I have used that work best are a bucket and the clam seat that folds up. There isn't a whole lot of room in this hut so I would recommend small tackle as well, maybe 18"-24" rod and reels.
There are not. I would recommend bringing buckets or lawn chairs but to sit comforably with the most room, The Clam Chair is very comfortable and leaves more room in the shanty for landing fish and gear
