A stout rod in a shorter length, the Mackinaw Spinning Rod is easy to both transport and store—especially when traveling by snowmobile. A Hyper Modulus fast action blank handles well with jigs, swim lures and spoons up to an ounce-and-a-half. This rod's action is ideal for inland water when presentations don't exceed 60'. Designed for taking lake trout, the handle is extra long and extends past the reel seat for increased balance and leverage. It also reduces fatigue while "bobbing" for lakers all day. Ideal for pike and salmon, too.
