Clam Corp Fish Trap™ Kenai Ice Fishing Shelter - One-Person
Nothing to complain about
It works like a charm. Easy to set-up, keeps me away from Wind, enough space to have my Marcum and my little Buddy. 3 Little Windows to let the sunshine in and you can close them with folding covers that hold with simple velcros. Love this item.

This Clam hut is the best investment for ice fishing that I have ever made. It is very easy to put together , as long as you follow the instructions. My advice is to read through them one time before starting anything. The plastic strip that holds the canvas to the sled needs to be attached while warm, so if you are assembling this in the garage like i did, use a hair dryer and warm up that piece of plastic so it becomes flexible. Once out on the ice you will really enjoy being able to flip it and fish. No real set up required on the ice. Drill your hole, sit down, flip the canvas over you and you are out of the wind. I bring my little buddy heater along and within 20 minutes am fishing in my t-shirt. My one complaint would have to be the seat provided. It is a simple bench seat. A seat with a fold down back like offered in the other Clam huts would have been nice.

Nice one man unit
I bought this unit last year and it was sure nice to have a excellent wind shield to shield me from the cold michigan wind. It works as wind shield and closes to make a shelter. When it's really cold you take your buddy heater with you and your all set. There's enough room for your auger, spud, poles ect. I have a bad disc in my back so I had to get the pulling harness and some ice cleats for my boots and that really helped me. Makes the deeper snow less of a problem too. If your in it fully closed for a few hours it does get moisture in it if the wind is blowing and you can't open the vents. It's a good trade off though. Its the way I'll fish by myself from now on. I'm 60 years old and don't see no reason to stop. Now if I can get the fish to bite that would be GREAT!

Best 1 Man Shanty on the Market
For mobility and speed you won't find a better shanty on the market today. With no poles to extend it is simply flip and fish. Super easy to setup and light enough to pull easily even through deep snow and plenty of room inside for all your gear. Can't go wrong with Clam!
