Chompers Stand-Up Jigheads
Great jig head
My friends and I have been using theese for a long time now. We use them for fishing twin tail skirted chompers and hulla grubs. The variety of weights will allow you to effectively work different depths of the water. The weed guard is effective, but usually needs to be trimmed as the are normally too long right out of the package. And the hooks never need sharpening.

This jig head is of very low quality. The weed guard has to be modified when it comes out of the package and after catching a fish or two, it becomes weak and begins to break off. The soft plastic chompers I was using would not stay on and I had to keep adjusting them after every cast.

Does what it is suposed to do.
If you fish by bouncing a grub down a rock bank or rip rap, this jig works extremely well. Coupled with a hula grub this bait memics a grawdad very well. I have caught various species on this bait including flat head catfish, Kentucky bass, largemouth bass and drum. It is a real killer on Kentuckies.

the chompers stand up jig hooks work great when you need to tempt
the fish right at their noses. The hook stays sharp and rarely gets
snagged as it has the rock guard. These are most lethal on bass using the double tailed hula grub. I will not head for the water without these.
