Over all, this is a solid bait. The skirt has great colors and a nice flair to it, and the coating on the head will not chip. However, the hook on the bait... not so sturdy. If you try and horse a fish using heavy line (20 pound mono or braid), the hook can and will bend. I lost about a 6 pounder due to this, and learned my lesson real quick. By loosening the drag a little and giving the fish a little more lead way, there is no problem. In the bait's defense, I set the hook like Barry Bonds swings at a fast ball.
Like any other football jig, it is best used around wood and rocks. In grass it is not the best choice. I have been using a Zoom Twin Fat Albert grub or a Strike King Rage Craw as trailers with good success.

This is the best jig i have ever purchased!!! I find that the all black colour works best, paired with a BPS Tournament Series Incredible Craw in black with blue pinchers. I have never lost a fish with this jig due to the way the is positioned. It just seems to stay hooked. I also find that bass of all sizes bite this jig... from small 1 pounders to giant 6lb bucketmouths. This is definitely my jig of choice no matter what the situation is.
