I have tried diffrent plastic worms on this hook but have not had very much success because it did not stand up and did not present shaky head finessworm technique it suppose to do.

Got these in from my mail order and tested them out the next day with a finess worm and started getting bites right away. Quality is very good and I like that the eyes are open for your line. you do not have to mess up the powder coat to get you line through.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jaybee Doesn't land on its head
I tried this jig out first in a 5-gal bucket with a roboworm. The jig repeatedly landed on its back. It looked as if the bait might be too heavy. I took the bait off and tried again. This time the jig landed on its head twice out of ten tries. I then dropped the jig--without line-- into the bucket. It landed upright three out of ten times. The only time I got anything different was when I dropped it on the floor from a distance of about four inches. That went five for ten. With any kind of plastic it either fell over backwards or to the side. Since the purpose of the jig is to provide an upright presentation, I have to give it a low score because I can't seem to make it perform the way the advertising states.

i am not the most experienced shakey head angler out there, but these are the best jigheads i have used so far. the screw lock does well holding your worm in place, the flat-bottomed head does a good job of keeping your bait vertical, and the mustad hooks are nice and sharp. i was a bit nervous of the square shaped head at first, but i haven't been snagged yet. this is a quality jighead that is worth the money.
