Chompers Drop Shot Worm 5 5 23 23
My go to bait I bought these worms last year and they just sat in my tackle box until about mid-july. I had this sudden urge to use a drop shot. Meanwhile i have never even used a drop shot but i always saw the elite series pros useing drop shots in deep clear water and i wanted to learn this technique because if i learn this technique on Champlain i would be pounding the bass all day long. The first day i tried it i was pounding the smallies in a break wall of tires on a shaky head. So, this gave me a load of confedince for a drop shot. I tied one up with a chompers green-pumpkin drop shot worm. right away i started to catch them and ended the day with about 35 smallies and 5 largies. I kept on useing the drop shot for the rest of the year and exparimented with other worms like the bps drop shot worms and them don't even come close to the chompers. I became extremely good at drop shotting and could catch fish where ever i wanted to on a drop shot I caught fish in 4 ft weed beds and in 40ft of deep clear drop offs. These worms smell great (to the fish atleast) and for 10 worms at $2.39 you would need to be a fool not to buy them. Drop shotting is simple and these worms catch fish by themselves. March 30, 2008
great worm Ive caught tons of smallies from lake erie to all the finger lakes on these tiny garlic worms. When fishing gets tuff i pull out these finnesse worms and I catch fish everytime. great size-garlic smell and work in a pinch to catch fish.I also power fish in weeds with these worms hooked on and the largies love'm to... Really Good Drop Shot Worm I have this worm in Dark Melon and it is awesome. I have used these and Roboworms for the summer. These worms work. I tied one on yesterday and on the first cast a 2lb creamed it. These worms get them to bite and hang on. Durability is good. All in all I am gonna keep buying these worms. They work. Great Lure These are great lures. Great for pulling thru the weeds. Granddaughter 7 years old caught first largemouth using these. They have great action thru the water. August 2, 2013

Can't go too wrong with any watermelon. However, I caught 5 bass yesterday on the Green Pumpkin color. Going to get a pack of one of the watermelon colors to see if anything compares to the green pumpkin. I have both colors in my Zoom Critter Craws and Magnum Finesse worms. That has worked out great, so going to try it with the drop shot worms.

Personally I think color is vastly over-rated. I fish many different colors, including watermelon choices, in gin clear water and the bass eat all of them. When was the last time you saw a natural food creature in a lake that was bubble gum pink, or neon blue, or lime green? -- yet the bass hit all these colors on drop shots, senkos, pre-rigs, etc. Just buy some worms and go fishing.
