Chippewa® 17'' Non-Insulated Snake Hunting Boots for Men
Best snake boot ever
Got the Chippewa boots a good while ago thinking it would take a while break them in. I read several reviews that said they took a long time to break in but I didn't have that problem. I LOVE these boots! They are very comfortabe. The toes fit so much better in the stirrups of my climbing stand and they have very good non slip soles. I have put quite a few miles on them and have no complaints other than being very hot but I knew that and didn't care. I only wear high quality steel toe work boot socks with them and that may be why they are so comfortable and so hot. They will out last any of the cheap snake boots 5 times over so the cost is well worth it. My hunting buddy has had a pair for years and never taken care of them and still going strong.

Worst Purchase Ever
I purchased these boots Sep 2010, and have used them for 4 months. The outer "Viper" material has been tearing at the seam on both boots. Maybe I received a bad pair, but based on my personal experience, these boots are of a poor quality. I capture rattlesnakes for a living, and I can't trust a pair of boots that open up so easily. It will be interesting to see how long this review will stay up on the website.

I had been looking for a pair of snake boots and when I tries these on there was no question. The price is well worth the quality and comfort. I read several reviews about how long they would take to break in and that was my only real concern. Well they arrived and fit perfectly and Ive only worn them a few times and they are breaking in just fine. Great boot!
