I bought it because it was rated #1 on America's test Kitchen. Very happy with it. Sharpened the first dull knife and it sliced through a sheet of paper like a razor blade. Only need a few pulls with 3 slots to get a great edge and then use the last slot to touch-up when needed. Will also sharpen serrated knifes.

Was very scepticle about the electric sharpeners when I bought this one bought it so my wife would quit pestering me to sharpen her kitchen knives this thing works great easy to use and fast gets a knife sharper then factory very pleased highly recommend this product
