Its better to cut refrigerated meat. Frozen meat tends to be too solid

i don't have this model but i do own a chef mate and i can tell you the platform the food sits on and the blade can be removed from mine if this helps. relative easy to clean, all parts that do come off in less then 30 sec. hope this helps1 of 1
