This is a challeging machine. I was under the impression you just run the knife trough the machine and you ready to cut. Because of poor weather I read the instruction first. There is a process to reset the blade angles. The knives I have cost more than the machine so changing the blade angle is holding me back on what I want to do. Tested on a pocket knife and as mentioned above a process to reset the angle. Maybe I am just lazy or expected to much for such a low price
