Very disappointed with the outcome. It failed to give me a fair cutting edge. My mistake was to purchase two of them.

Great sharpner. Used for over a year now. I have taken very dull kitchen knives and turned them into usable kitchen tools. Once knives are brought back to life it only takes a few swipes to keep teh edge honed every now and then. Easy to use and to store. I am not one for kitchen gagets that take up space but this fits right in the drawer next to the knives not taking up much space. Works great on pocket and hunting knives also! I havent used the hook sharpner as of yet. GIving one as a gift this year.

I had a hook sharpener made by berkley, then rapala and the rapla was good but not all hooks fit. I bought this and I sharpened every hook in my tackle box. I use this thing every week. my only confession is I haven't even had a chance to use the knnife sharpener. but if it is half as good as the hook sharpener than this tool is perfect.
