Many tournament-winning crappie anglers credit Charlie Brewer's Crappie Slider Grubs as the main reason for their success. Designed to slide over thick brush and timber where serious slabs slumber, the chunky, ribbed body, vibrant color patterns, and miniature paddle tail are everything you need to harvest a limit of fat and happy crappie. Suitable for any size of slider head or jig head, and effective cast, trolled or vertically jigged. Rig with a Weedless Crappie Slider head for best results in cover.
I have used this grub for many many years and it is my go to bait for crappie fishing. It has produced four citation sized fish for me and my fishing partner just in the past month. I use the white and smoke color mostly. These baits work wonderfully rigged on a 1/8 or 1/16 oz jig head.

My tackle box will always have them!!
Ive used these extremely successfully on crappie year round. Also i have a pond behind my house and never could catch a fish on ANYTHING, but the first time i got these i flipped one out and caught a huge bass!! i will always have these in my tackle box. The only disadvantage is that the tails are easily pulled off by fish.

When tubes do not provide enough action, and curly tails just do not seem to be getting enough takers, the fast tight wiggle of these sliders can really turn on them big crappies. Lots of good color combinations.
