Charlie Brewer's Pro Series Spider Slider Heads run true and upright for excellent bait presentation, hook sets and reduced line twist. The Pro Series Spider Slider Heads' unique design also provides excellent holding power, so your soft plastic holds on tighter and lasts longer. Pro Series Spider Sliders are great for Texas style rigging and have sharp 3/0 Mustad® Ultra Point Hooks.
Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by A Finesse Staple This is the Slider head that makes finesse fishing a great technique for any large fish, even 5 lbs. and over. It has sturdy wire that won't straigthen out when the big one loads on (avoid the light wire Slider head unless you don't care about losing anything over a pound). This hook is sharp and the head really does slide through most cover. It works great with any 4" worm, Slider or otherwise, straight or curly tail. I like the 1/16 size normally, or 1/8 when the wind is up. A Slider worm on a light Slider head is also a great search bait technique to probe cover until you find where the big guys are holding. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great These work great with 4" slider worms or any other smaller worm. Make sure you don't use them with fat worms the gap is not that large. They catch tons of fish and don't get hung up on weeds, rocks or brush. May 28, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gran Dads Shakey Head Gran Dads Shakey Head For years this has been a go to jig head for 4" worms to catch pressured or inactive Bass. The light off set wire, sharp points and pointed lead jig head pull through vegatation and over rocks and wood cleanly. If you are fishing the weed and breaklines with shakey head presentation then this is a great tool. Keep the hooks dry as the light wire is suspect to corrosion and dulling of hooks. The paint on the lead tends to flake off or turn to powder when stored moist , another reason to dry store these hooks. December 11, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by GREAT PURCHASE this product is great for jigging freshwater or just getting the bait to the bottom for those big fish. I would reccomend this for shalow lakes with no current to catch bass. April 2, 2008

It's like both a texas and a jighead rig. So would this count as a shakey head?

Thanks

No It goes through the weeds better and seems more effective catching fish. The best size is1/8 oz with 8# fluorocarbon seagar invisx.

A:
No not a "shakey head" A shakey head is meant to stand the bait up the slider head, well slides along the bottom or on top of the grass/moss.

Shakey heads are a bit different. Typically a Shakey Head the weight of the jig is underneith the plastic. In this sitution the weight of the jig is in front of the plastic.

These were developed as really a small swimbait 30 years ago or so. There are slider bodies that go with them. The thought was you swam the bait back. These can be used on the bottom as well. I wouldn't call them shakey heads though.
