Charlie Brewer's Pro Series Spider Slider Heads run true and upright for excellent bait presentation, hook sets and reduced line twist. The Pro Series Spider Slider Heads' unique design also provides excellent holding power, so your soft plastic holds on tighter and lasts longer. Great In the river Used these in the river to catch the years first smallies. Kept snagging up with tubs even when rigged weedless so I put one of these on with a 4" curly tail and never got snagged again. Caught 2 nice smallies out of the hole I had been working. March 21, 2013
outstanding clear water,april,4in worm, sliderhead=outstanding catghes of large and smallmouth bass .nuff said !!! February 4, 2013
A Game Winner! Have been using these for years. Have caught more fish on the slider head with 4" pumpkin worm than any I have ever fished with. I go fishing with someone and they say don't you try anything else? I say no use to, This catches me more bass so why switch! December 24, 2012
Great Jig I have used this jig for the past 6 years for fishing for largemouth. I can't find a better one on the market. Great hook sets with this jig...sharp hooks! December 19, 2012

It's like both a texas and a jighead rig. So would this count as a shakey head?

Thanks

No It goes through the weeds better and seems more effective catching fish. The best size is1/8 oz with 8# fluorocarbon seagar invisx.

A:
No not a "shakey head" A shakey head is meant to stand the bait up the slider head, well slides along the bottom or on top of the grass/moss.

Shakey heads are a bit different. Typically a Shakey Head the weight of the jig is underneith the plastic. In this sitution the weight of the jig is in front of the plastic.

These were developed as really a small swimbait 30 years ago or so. There are slider bodies that go with them. The thought was you swam the bait back. These can be used on the bottom as well. I wouldn't call them shakey heads though.
