I see that it takes a bottle on top. Will it also accept a line in for bottleless style useage?
Answers
A:
No, the unit does not have this feature. ThanksAnswers
A:
Yes, the machine will stop making ice when full. There is a sensor that sits at the top of the ice bin that senses when the bin is full and shuts the ice maker off. If ice is removed or if ice would melt, the ice maker automatically restarts until full again. Thanks
Details:
Is the unit's icebin refrigerated, or must the ice be moved to a freezer to preclude melting the ice?Answers
A:
The ice bin itself is not refrigerated. It is insulated like a cooler would be. The ice is dispensed into the removable bin approximately every six minutes. When the ice melts the water returns to the water reservoir and is used to make new ice. Like any cooler, once it comes down to working temperature, it will hold ice for extended time without melting. Thanks

There is no decibel rating. According to the manufacturer: "When the unit is making ice, the sound equivalent would be a computer fan running. However, the unit does make additional sound when the cubes are released into the ice bin. This sound is momentary and is the equivalent of ice falling into your ice bin in your freezer."Answers
A:
The bin will hold 8.8 lbs. Thanks1 of 1
