I saw this unit and wonted a thermometer for an adjacent room in the house. This fit the need really well. The swivel mount and the minimum and maximum along with the larger current temp reading works well. The display numbers are large enough to see across the room and the battery has not needed to be changed in almost a year. this is a good basic unit.

I tried it on the window (not in the sun), but it still read about 4 degrees higher (summertime) than the actual temperature outside. I tried it in the front and back windows and the result was the same. So, to me, it is useless.

USE THIS DIGITAL THERMOMETER ON OUR RV, ITS GREAT TO HAVE WHEN CAMPING AND KNOWING THE TEMPERATURE OUTSIDE INSTEAD OF GUESSING....
GOT THIS ONE FOR MY BROTHERS CAMPER AND HE ALSO LOVES IT AND HUNG IT IMMEDIATELY WHEN I GAVE IT TO HIM. ITS A GREAT THING TO HAVE ON CAMPERS!!!!

This is exactly what I was looking for, it lets me know the inernal temp. of my vehicle. The only improvement would be to let me know external temp.
