Champion Traps® Highfly String Release Trap
Not wanting to spend a lot I decided this product would fulfill my needs. My wife and I have enjoyed shooting clays several times outback in our pasture. A few clays have broken when barely out of the device but overall the distance, flight path and angle are very consistent. Our ground is pretty soft so I kept it place using two sand bags, works perfect. After 3 cases of clay traps I did need to replace the pull string with a stronger pull string, back to shooting in minutes. We're enjoying ourselves without spending a bunch of money. I would recommend this product to anyone, unless you just like to spend money on fancy stuff.

Good buget trap
I have the same trap marketed under the Winchester name. It’s not uncommon for companies to do this. Anyway, this was my very first experience with trap shooting and it was lots of fun. The instructions are fair at best. I relied mostly on the pictures to assemble it. The biggest pro to this is the fact you shove it down in the dirt and it makes it very stable. I put about 30 skeet’s through it today and 3 shattered during launch. I’m a newby at this, so I don’t know if that’s bad or average or what. Over all, I think it was a good $30 investment and I’m sure I’ll get a better one down the road. Maybe one of those fancy auto launchers. I recommend it only if your new to the sport and don’t want a major investment/risk.

Its neat, but it jumps up too bad when you launch the bird. You can push it into the ground but the ground is too hard where we go so I think putting it into an old tire would be better. Also you better make sure everything is tight. The screw holding down the arm which attaches to the trigger flew off and actually broke the bird. I eventually was able to find one like it, cut it a little and put it back in.

Decent for what it is
This is good if you just want to shoot some clays. you better have some decent muscles to pull it back a hundred times. It throws one pretty good but when it throws two they go in completely different directions. I tied a 16 yard string to it so i could get practice from the real distance, not nearly as fast but, it is good for practice, also good for new shooters to get started on.
