Rated 1 out of 5 by terrible this bait has never caught me any fish it sure smells like it would work but it doesnt i can catch fish at my uncle pond with just a hook but these cant catch anything June 2, 2009
Rated 1 out of 5 by TERRIBLE i have used this at a couple of ponds and havent caught anything May 25, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by caught 80+ in 2 hours my friends and I always go to an awesome catfish pond, and we always used chicken livers in the past. we would catch a decent amount, but when we tried these things..we got at least 80, we counted that many in our fish basket, and released a lot too. it was 3 of us and we were goofing around alot too. i used one on about 3-5 fish one time, if you hook it right and they are fresh. we had an old dried out bag, and they would fall apart sometimes but if you hook it right these things are magic. Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Stuff I like using this stuff when I don't have the money to get the more expensive stuff. Even at that, I still love the stuff. I catch all different species of catfish using it. February 16, 2009

It is resealable so unless you don't put the lid on right, you should be good.

It makes everything near it stink to high heavens. The bags don't hold the smell in even when completely sealed. I kept mine in a separate catfishing tackle box just for this reason.

Catfish will eat just about anything from cheese to night crawlers. Even ivory soap can work.

All different types of baits work in different parts of the world and cat fish have a very developed scene of smell that punch, dough, and dip baits are designed to utilize. However I you would like to try some that don't smell as bad I've used Shad sides that you can buy frozen that don't smell too bad, You could also try shrimp be sure to buy the stuff still with vane in or even hot dogs have worked for me I find the regular pork/chicken/beef work the best.

Can't go wrong with simple chicken livers. Any artificial catfish bait I have used has not brought me any luck.
