The past 4 times I have been catfishing, I haven't had a single bite. This stuff stinks, and is not effective at all. Do not buy, unless you like wasting money.

I picked some up at the local bps to fish a urban pond witch recently was stocked with cats. Set one up with the bloodbait its easy to hook not mesy and the other rod with a crawler. Didnt catch a single cat on the bloodbait. But I dont doubt it works but I think the cats have to be really really hungry/active to pick up the stinkbait compared to other baits/forage available.

All different types of baits work in different parts of the world and cat fish have a very developed scene of smell that punch, dough, and dip baits are designed to utilize. However I you would like to try some that don't smell as bad I've used Shad sides that you can buy frozen that don't smell too bad, You could also try shrimp be sure to buy the stuff still with vane in or even hot dogs have worked for me I find the regular pork/chicken/beef work the best.1 of 1
