Rated 4 out of 5 by not very good this product is not very good it falls apart way to easly and it doesnt get to many bites i switched over to small brim and minnows and got alot more bites. January 22, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Terrible The past 4 times I have been catfishing, I haven't had a single bite. This stuff stinks, and is not effective at all. Do not buy, unless you like wasting money. November 13, 2010
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not worth it. I picked some up at the local bps to fish a urban pond witch recently was stocked with cats. Set one up with the bloodbait its easy to hook not mesy and the other rod with a crawler. Didnt catch a single cat on the bloodbait. But I dont doubt it works but I think the cats have to be really really hungry/active to pick up the stinkbait compared to other baits/forage available. November 13, 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by decent bait Works pretty good, will stay on the hook and catch some fish July 6, 2010

It is resealable so unless you don't put the lid on right, you should be good.

It makes everything near it stink to high heavens. The bags don't hold the smell in even when completely sealed. I kept mine in a separate catfishing tackle box just for this reason.

Catfish will eat just about anything from cheese to night crawlers. Even ivory soap can work.

All different types of baits work in different parts of the world and cat fish have a very developed scene of smell that punch, dough, and dip baits are designed to utilize. However I you would like to try some that don't smell as bad I've used Shad sides that you can buy frozen that don't smell too bad, You could also try shrimp be sure to buy the stuff still with vane in or even hot dogs have worked for me I find the regular pork/chicken/beef work the best.

Can't go wrong with simple chicken livers. Any artificial catfish bait I have used has not brought me any luck.
