this bait is really good. me and my friend bought two pakages of this and we cuaght over fifty fish and one broke my personale best at 150 pounds!!!!!! it lasted me three mounths.

I was told if I didn't have anything nice to say to not say it at all..... So far a no go on this dip bait.. I have tried countless nights catfishing with this on the line and nothing.. Don't get me wrong this stuff stinks to high heaven, but it just doesn't work for me..

I found this bait to be pretty effective and stay on my hook well. Kept my line tight all day long.

Great product..consistently catches catfish when all other baits fail. Works great in winter as well as summer. Tried the blood but the cheese out fishes the blood every time.This is the only dip bait I'll ever use!

nope. on hotter days you'll notice the bait becomes not as sticky but I've never refrigerated

I have kept the Blood Dip bait in a hot shed during the summer for about a month until it was used up. I noticed no lingering smell in the shed or change in the bait. Just make sure you put the lid on well.A:Â
It is not necessary to refridgerate catfish dough bait. However, if the bait becomes too hot, it will become very loose in texture and will not stay on the hook. Try to keep your bait in the shade when fishing, it will stay on the hook better.Details:Â

I followed the directions slip sinker and swivel with dip worm etc. what technique works best? The lake im on is heavily fished.Answers

The best way to rig your line for catfish is to use a "three way" swivel. Tie a piece of line about 12 inches or so to one of the three openings on the swivel. Place your sinker on this line. Next, tie anothe piece of line to another opening in the swivel. This piece should be shorter than the piece with the sinker on it. Tie your bait to this piece of line. Lastly, tie the line going to your rod and reel to the last opening on the swivel. This rig will keep your bait up off the bottom a few inches, I have had great success with this type of presentation.A:Â
Thats the correct way to use it. You have to rebait about every 15 to 20 mins. I have caught my catfish that way!!

i also fish a pond that is way over fished, and all i do is take a weight with a little metal loop on the top and tie it about 1-2 feet away from the hook and either bottom fish or i use a bober. that how i normally do it and it works out really well. I think chicken liver still works the best rathre than stink bait, and it is cheaper to.A:Â
The technique that works best for me, because where I fish there's a lot of riprap and you can get hung up a lot as well as being over fished, is 15 pound test with a snap swivel. Put a 1 to 2 ounce sinker and the dip worm all on the swivel and hang on. Remember dip bait is not a magic catfish producer, no matter what the brand, don't get pulled in by the marketing, but it does work! You still need to go to where the catfish are.
