an excellent product
I used this product when I lived in illinois in many rivers as well as where im at now in michigan and it has always produced. Most cats you get with this bait are in the 3-7lb range, for bigger cats cut sucker is the way to go. As of the last year I seen a change in the viscosity of the product and its effect to stay on the tube has greatly improved. When using this product make sure to use the rubber tubes that have grooves cut into them, it holds bait super well even when fishing in heavy current. When using product make sure to use a stick and not your hand to pack bait into tube or you'll be sorry when the stench stays with you for days...For the people that haven't had any luck try this setup a 2 ounce no roll sinker up onto line followed by a bead large enough to slide over your fishing knot, then tie that to a heavy duty barrel swivel, on the opposite side of the barrel swivel tie a 12" leader with 14lb mono run the line through the rubber tube and tie into treble hook that is atleast 1 size bigger than the treble hook provided with the tubes or the catfish will swallow the hook 90% of the time.. when you dip the tube, be very generous on the amount you put on it, i use enough where the entire tube is covered and essentially it looks like a smelly corn dog, location is everything and i tend to like fishing sharp bends in the river where the current slows down and you can visually see current roll into a circle, also up in front of log jams, below dams in current breaks or tail outs, in a deep hole located in between shallow stretches of river
try following these steps and i promise this bait wont disappoint you

Simply The Best
No other catfish bait compares to the fish catching ability of the Blood Dip bait. I reccommend that if you want to catch not just fish, but big fish use this with the Catfish Charlie's worm and just wait to fill up your stringer.

blood dip bait
I used this bait off of a dock in the hudson river, with a plastic ringworm and a single hook. I caught my first 5 channel cats ever with it in under 5 hours. One of them is my best fish.
Twice I hooked a very big catfish, but the first time the hook ripped out of its mouth, and the second time he bit the swivel and unhooked it. After that, I tried it on the only other lure I had, a spoon, and still caught fish.
This is one of the best lure/baits that I have ever tried.
