Rated 3 out of 5 by moog good watch
I bought this watch specifically for the large numbers. Which it turns out to be very visible without my glasses. The temp and compass are alittle iffy. the temp won't show true unless you take the watch off and let it set for 30 minutes. And i'd trust a real compass bnefore I'd rely on this watch. Never had any trouble with Casio time pieces and should serve well. My last casio lasted almost 20 years.

Display is easy to read, features are nice, backlight works well at night, and it seems to be a good rugged watch. Having a good durable watch is important to me as my work and hobbies expose it to some very unfavorable conditions, and I want it to last. If you are wearing the watch, don't expect to have accurate ambient temperature measurement, as it seems to be primarily measuring your skin temperature. The owners manual does clarify that it should be placed in the "open" and given ample time to equalize if correct surrounding temperatures are to be obtained, so I wouldn't fault it in this regard. If you do follow the owner's manual guidelines, it seems to be within 1-2 degrees of actual temperature.
The watch is slightly thicker than my last watch, so sometimes I catch it on items when performing mechanic work, but suprisingly enough, it doesn't show the first scratch yet. I purchased the watch with some Bass Pro Reward points, and would still purchase the same watch again today after having it for a couple months.

it's not a real digital compass. It does however, have a feature that allows it to be used like an analog watch to use the sun's azimuth and a bearing (on the face of the watch) to find north. Using this feature is described in the user manual, and is pretty straight forward.Answers
