This is one of the best pocket knives that I have ever used. It is sharp enough to shave with right out of the box and it will hold its edge for a long time. Not to mention just how beautiful the thing is. The only drawback is that the chrome vanadium blade will need to be extremely well taken care of or it will get black rust spots on it. Just try to keep a thin layer of oil on it all the time. Once again I'd like to say that this is a great knife for anyone and i recomend highly recomend picking one up. And its a steal at only 40 bucks.

Most of the yellow handled Case Knives are made using CV Steel. Chrome Vanadium that is "Carbon" Steel.

Chrome-vanadium blades. If you want to really make the knife look great and protect the blades, get some gun bluing and blue the blades. I did to another case knife with CV blades...and it looks extremely nice!!1 of 1
