I was initially very disappointed with this knife when I opened the box and was planning on returning it. The blade had several very noticeable nicks and didn't seem to be sharpened from the factory. But I needed another knife in my arsenal and figured for $30 what do I have to lose. After a thorough sharpening, I'm glad I decided to keep it. The blade gets sharp and stays sharp. It's also great for breasting ducks, much easier than my Buck Vanguard. Overall, not as pretty or as "finished" looking as a Buck, but a good value for the money. Would buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by longhoods Great product at a great value.
Skinned and gutted the 1st deer with it opening morning of the Kansas gun season. I have used it numerous times since on things like big baler twine and mudflaps. Just as sharp now as it was when it was new. Thanks BassPro!!!

Excellent steel as always with any Case knife. Razor sharp out of the box and nothing beats a full tang fixed blade. I was a little disappointed by the sheath but the knife alone is a great deal at 30 bucks. The only drawback on the knife I experienced was the non-blade edges of the steel were a little sharp at a flat 90 degrees. I sanded them down to smooth them out. Love the fact they still are made in the U.S.A. Overall it's a great product. Remember, you can never have too many knives!
