Case Fixed Blade Knives
I purchase this knife with a giftcard I reicieved on fathers day. The price is a little steep but the knife is super sharp and is high quality. I see some of the other reviews talk about the sheath not being any good but I think it's just fine and fits neatly on my belt and is very compact. I really like this knife and would buy another one. You really can't go wrong with Case. The steel they use and the way they temper it is second to none. I have had case knives in the past and never had an issue out of any of them. The bottom line is you get what you pay for and this one should last for years.

Good enough For Grampa, good enough for me!
I remember my grandfather and my father carrying this knife and always wanting one for myself. today I bought my son his first case fixed blade. In the field, the farm and out camping these are the one to have.

Love my case. Had one for over 50 years and lost it when I fell off a horse. Had to purchase another since one needs a fixed blade knife when on a mission, having fun, riding a horse, or just walking on the ranch. Great durability, my older one held an edge for a good long time and I was not nice to it. I love the leather handle since it retains grip when wet. The newer knives have the nylon handle and they tend to slip. If I need a knife, it is usually cold, wet, snowy, or other reason that I need it in my hand not on the ground because it slipped out.

I have used this knife to field dress and skin two bull moose now and it is the most reliable, longest lasting edge I have had the pleasure to use. If you are looking for the one best knives to take into the woods, this is it. It slices through flesh, cord, wood, plastic, anything you throw at it. I gut, cape and skin with it, it does it all. My son just purchased his own, a fantastic, long lasting value for $90.
Don't hesitate to add this knife to your kit.
