I have to disagree with one or two reviews I read on this knife. I wanted a bone handle, 3 stainless blades in a 3.5 inch knife. This knife met all these needs. It was razor sharp out of the box. The blades were perfect in finish. The bone handles were perfect. It has to be the prettiest knife I have seen in years. I really like the Bass Pro Shops shield on the handle. The blades have a perfect hone and mirror finish. Best of all is the USA and Case stamped into the blades. I carry this knife and use it for general cutting around my farm. It would be perfect for a collector or gift.

This knife is to replace a Case knife which was used for over sixty years. That knife was lost from my pants pocket that had a hole. I am very happy with my new case knife and trust it will be in use more then sixty years as well.

I'm a avid knife collector. I have been all of my life. I normally find Case XX knives to be high quality products. On this knife that wasn't true. All three of the blades still had grind marks on the sides that hadn't been fully polished out during production. The handle on the non-shield side had two pin cracks leading from the pins. This isn't the norm for Case! It might be that I received one that was missed by quality control. As far as function, the knife I received would be just fine for daily use. I bought it to add to my collection, so I was disappointed with it.
