Three super-bright LED lights allow for use in low-light conditions. The MagniFly operates on 3-AAA batteries (not included) or supplied 4.5v DC adapter. Dimensions: 24'' x 4'' x 2''. Weight: 18 oz.

Great addition to my fly tying setup. Exactly what I was hoping for in magification and un obtrusive. Works very well attached to vise.

I've been tying the better part of 30 years, and this past fall I finally acknowledged the numbers on my birth certificate and bought this excellent magnifying lamp. With my new rotary vise I'm tying fairly regularly down to size 18 or so, and after a few, my peepers are pretty tired. The new lamp allows me to increase my hours at the vise and also encourages me to attempt nymph and midge sizes that I would never have thought possible with these old eyes! An excellent tool at an excellent price. Clamped on your tying bench or your vise you'll have no more excuses!

On the contrary, I'd say that the size is just about perfect. Sure, it takes a bit of getting used to, but its size ensures that it is not in your way when you're looking for the right hackle or whatever. After about ten minutes you'll wonder how you ever did without it.1 of 1
