I have purchased these shorts before. As far as wear and tear, they are great. My husband is hard on work pants/shorts and they last and wash well. Will continue to buy from carhartt.

You can get these cheaper but in the long run these are a better value. Belt loops don't break, pockets are nice and deep and don't get holes in them, zipper doesn't derail. I like the shorter inseam too (8.5")
