Our son in law wanted on of these sweatshirts so we purchased him one. He has talked to alot of people that have one of these, they have said that they would highly recommend this purchase. When he got it he was very pleased and excited to have a carhart sweatshirt.

This thermal-lined hoody is great when the wind is blowing and it's down right cold out.
Even if it's snowing the thermal lining keeps mosture out for a good long time. It has eliminated the need for an outer shell in most situations...Great product.

This is the kind of sweat shirt guys need to have. I bought it late 2010 as a replacement for a competitors similar product. That product, while advertised as a heavy duty work hooded sweat shirt, was not that sturdy. The fit was little odd and I mostly wore it as a casual style jacket. Kept it for a number of years. Needing a real sturdy swear shirt, I gave the old one to Goodwill and bought the Carhartt version.
When you open the package, the Carhartt feels heavy and substantial. However, when you put it on it balances nicely and is very comfortable.
First thing I did with it was my yearly four hour cleaning up of the garage for autumn and the two hour job of laying in fire wood for the winter. The hoodie was warm and comfortable to wear during the work. As it was very dirty from the day’s work, I washed it up that night and it looked as good a new.
I just got back from driving from Illinois to northern New York and I wore it the entire trip. Kept me warm when making pit stops and was comfortable in the car.
Great item. May buy another one soon.

I have a Carhart duck jacke that I bought from your store and am trying to get another one for my son. I have not found the jacket anywhere and it had a special lining that was lighter than the quilted lining. It would be perfect for California. It looks more like a polyester mesh active sport type lining. Is that what this is?Answers
