First thing...it has a hood. Had I known that I would have passed on it.
Secondly a 3XL would not fit. Very unusual. The sizing must be done on some very slim models.
I wound up giving to my brother and he loves it. On him its a great fit and he loves the hood.
Over all it was A good purchase but I'd be real careful buying a similar jacket in the future

I've owned a few Carhartt jackets not because of unreliability or poor quality but just growing out of them. This jacket is one of my more recent purchases and I have yet to be disappointed with it. It still is a reliable Carhartt product yet has a new style with a different insulation. In my opinion it seems to be more lightweight than Carhartt's traditional jackets, which I like and yet still just as warm. I can confidently say that any Carhartt Jacket is made to last for years.
