Bought this coat for working and playing outdoors. I like to dress in layers. This coat is ideal for a shell if you do the same. I spent all day out ice fishing in the ADKs with a couple layers of underneath and it was a perfect choice. It's thin enough so if your active on cold days such as splitting wood for the stove, you don't overheat. The Carhart exterior kept the brisk winter breeze at bay.

Nice jacket will wear well. The folding in the fabric by the zipper creates a little problem when zipping up or down. Hpefully this problem will correct itself as the jacket is worn more.

The coat is great and very wram. It fit like a glove too, but the metal zipper they used is bad and hard to zip up. It's like a mink trap
