Carhartt Duck Detroit Blanket-Lined Jacket for Men
J001 Men's Duck Detroit Jacket/Blanket-Lined
After four years of heavy work, The entire bottom has unstitched itself, it is frayed at every hem, has holes all in it, and the blanket lining is disintegrating. I wish Carhartt still had the quality of my granddad's whose, although white now, is holding on much better - at twenty years old.
The fit is perfect, however the jacket's unstitching after the second washing turns me off to Durability and Quality. The jacket never was very warm with the blanket lining, so I consider the comfort to be low. The appearance is good, but I prefer the J002 jacket with it's arctic-weight lining. Holds up much better.

Best Coat I Ever Owned
I have owned one of these coats for years, in fact the only reason I don’t still have it is that it was stolen (I guess someone else liked it too). This coat is one of the most durable you will ever buy, the only wear mine got from years of work in the woods and around the family farm was the ends of the sleeves coming apart and, some general minor wear and tear. This is the best coat I have ever owned and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new coat, you will not find better quality anywhere.

Best Jacket Ever!!!
I purchased this jacket to replace the exact same jacket that I had been wearing for the last 10 years. 10 years in the construction biz for a jacket is awesome!! The jacket is extremely durable and very comfortable to wear. I also have the snap on hood which helps when its windy or extremely cold outside. Its warm enough by itself but not too heavy so you can layer underneath if needed. The short cut also is great for mobility and does not restrict movement. This is the best jacket that I have ever owned!!!

Classic Style Detroit Jacket
I bought this jacket shortly after buying my Duck Chore Coat many years ago. Takes many wearings and washings to break in as the cotton duck is seriously bulletproof. Has held up well and never have had any issues with the materials or zippers like I usually do on my "other brand" jackets. All of my Carhartt jackets have great heavy duty zippers and buttons which I really appreciate. Blanket lining is very warm. A little rigid to work in compared to my Chore Coat but it depends on what you are doing.
