We love our Carhartt's! While ordering my 13 year old son the red one for Christmas, he and his siblings were ordering me the green one in Tall with mom's help. They're excellent weight and truly warm jackets. They're the jacket to own when the others just don't cut it. I'm not a fan of hoods, but I really take advantage of my Carhartt's on a blistery Chicago day!

I was literally on a duck hunt for a small carhartt duck active jacket. I wanted in in black or grey so i sent a few employees on a wild goose chase to try to find one for me. We ended up not being able to find any, but were able to find a tan colored one. I am so happy with my jacket so i wanted to let you guys know!
Keep up the great work!!

Purchased coat after trying on many others. It seemed a little expensive. After wearing it while hunting on a VERY windy day, I changed my opinion!!! It's worth every penny.Sizes run big. Order one size smaller.

I really like this jacket, good & warm, nice fit, durable.
I ordered the blaze orange, I was a bit let down as I was expecting more of a burnt as apposed to safety orange. However I love all orange and it still looks good.
The only thing I am not licking is that the hood is very stiff I find it hard to fully put the hood down when \i am driving. However I am sure that it will loosen up with time.

I'm not sure what the exact rating is, but I know that I have been in 20 degree weather with only this jacket and a long-sleeve shirt underneath and still felt pretty warm. It stands up to the wind and light rain really well also.A:Â
Per Carhartt, they do not give temperature rate their garments. However, the lining is categorized into warm, warmer and warmest. The Quilted Flannel lining is considered the warmest. ThanksAnswers

No it's not flame retardant, however it's a great tough warm jacket otherwise.A:Â
No, this jacket is not Flame-Resistant. Try Carhartt model FRJ237: Men's Flame-Resistant Midweight Active Jac/Quilt-Lined, which we do not carry.Answers

I have used this jacket for over 10 years and I can tell you that I have never had a problem with wind, and I work primarily outside in all temperatures.A:Â
I think so. My husband works outside on top of buildings and it's very windy here in the winter. These are the only coats he wears. Hope this helpsAnswers

Pretty strong, the only thing I have been able to puncture it with (on accident) was a barbed wire fence. I have grazed it with many a branch, knife, fishing hook, chain link fence, etc and I only have the one hole from the barbed wire.A:Â
These coats are extremely durable. Kind of like wrangler jeans. My husband is notorious for tearing his clothes but these jackets last at least 5 years with him.1 of 1
