Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 21 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best arrows on the market... The Carbon Express Maxima line is the best on the market hands down, I have recently switched from the 250's to the Maxima Hunter 350's but I'm not expecting anything less from them. I love this line of arrows and will never shoot another brand other than Carbon Express from now on. I know I'm beating the dead horse here but these arrows really will tighten your grouping and will definitely impress you. February 11, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best down range shooting ever With today's equipment just about anyone can shoot 20 yards and hit a pie plate. Although, try doing that at 40 and hit the same plate consistantly. Even better yet, try hitting half that size every time. These arrows make that a reality. Since I have switched to CX Maxima Blue Streaks my shooting has never been better. It is no doubt these arrows group tighter than any other arrow I have shot. Killer product, I will be recommending these to all of my friends. September 19, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Arrows I bought these arrows for my Hoyt rampage trying to find a good down range arrow. These are outstanding groups have shrunk no problem out of them shoot 50 to 75 arrows a day. Shot a lot of others even different types of the carbon express best so far great arrows. August 21, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Most accurate arrow ever! I have shot maximas before but the maxima blue streaks are the best maxima ever now that they have the weight forward technology they group even tighter even with broad heads. I will never shoot another arrow. August 17, 2011

If I were you, I would stick with the 250 weight and probably an arrow length of roughly an inch longer than your draw length at full draw. Honestly, I'm not too keen on recurve bow setups but I own a set of the Maxima Blue Streak 250's for my Diamond Dead Eye compound bow and recently had to upgrade to the Maxima Blue Streak Hunter 350's for a stronger spine strength since my draw weight is 63 lbs at 29.5 inches, hope this helps you out.

I had to cut mine off about an inch after I got them straight from the box, and I have a 28" draw length.

We do not pre-cut our arrows. Carbon arrow shafts must be cut with a high-speed shaft cutter. You may try contacting your local Bass Pro Shops retail store for assistance or recommendations.

The BP store cuts them for me.

I have seen YouTube videos of guys using a dremel and a home made jig OR they sell arrow saws.

They will need to be cut to your desired length at the store. I believe they use a cut-off wheel but its in a specialized arrow shaft cutting machine

These arrows need to be cut to lenght when you purchase them. They are high performance arrows and the closer you get them to your specific draw length the better they will perform

Only 6, they're quite expensive for only half a dozen arrows but honestly they're the best I've used and I'll never switch from Carbon Express. I used the Maxima BS 250's until I recently upgraded to the Maxima BS Hunter 350's for a stiffer spine strength. Hope this helps

YES! I have changed some of my nocks to the lighted nocks. You really need to be at the store to dry fit them and see which ones work best for your arrows. I have the blue streak selects and the lumenoks worked fine.

The 350's have a stiffer spine strength than the 250's. There are recommendations for your draw weight/draw length. I used the Carbon Express Maxima Blue Streak 250's last season but upgraded to the Maxima Hunter 350's around Christmas for the stiffer spine, I shoot 63 lbs at 29.5 draw length. Hope this helps

It all depends on your draw lenght and weight. Carbon Express website has a chart for you to properly choose the size that is best for your set up.

The weigh of the arrow is different, the 250's are 7.4 gpi and the 350's are 8.3 gpi. Meaning the 250's will fly faster and flatter
