My son has a grill similar to this one. The difference is that his grill is sturdy, the grill from Bass Pro shop has wobbly legs and is not as sturdy as I would have like.

We used the campfire grill when we took a group of kids to an overnight at the creek. It worked great. It folds and is easy to carry. Cooks food evenly and easy to clean.
I would recommend it to anyone who knows how it is to carry so many items to an overnight. This is one item that is easy in every way.

This grill is sturdy and easy to store it fits in all campground fire pits. It is the perfect size to cook steaks or burgers over the open fire. It is great value for the money.

I like the folding legs for easy storage and it allows good access to the cooking fire.

From a review above, there is a statement that this was also used for a table and a seat for a child. I am just curious about what the weight capacity is for this item.Answers

I am not sure that you would want to do that. I use mine over an open fire all the time so because of that it is all black and chared. Everytime I pick it up now I get my hands all dirty. Don't think you want to sit on it. And to answer your question I have no idea but I do use my 18" lodge pan full of food which is rather heavy.A:Â
20 lbs. I would not recommend using this as seat.Details:Â

This grill is about 16-18 inches tall and works great for Cook fires. Youmight want to take some bricks to build
up the highth, thats what I do if I need
more heat than what I normally cook
with. This product will meet your needs and its sturdy. Not many like
it out there when it comes to holding up. Need's a wind screen though in Texas.
