I first baked a pumpkin pie(awesome), I then cooked seasoned rice with sausage and ham and then my ultimate fried garlic chicken wings. The C-Oven2 is a masterpiece in design and built to last. and very efficient in gas usage too. I highly recomend this product to any one and not just for camping.

I do a lot of cooking while camping. This is the best cooking purchase I have ever made. Cooked bacon, scrambled eggs, and biscuits at the same time using the small propane bottle.

awesome love it use it alot i cook outside every day even in the rain bought this stove and a chargriller 3 in one grill charcoal gas smoker and side burner also gonna smoke some chickens and bake biscuits n cornbread in the oven tonight it is awesome

We received the stove combo 2 days before leaving for Elk camp. It was Thanksgiving in two days so we decided to do a turkey at camp. It was a 12lb bird and the first thing we cooked in the oven(yes it is big enough to fit 12 lb turkey into it.)It heated up quickly and maintained a constant temperature. We went on a 3 plus hour afternoon hunt and when we came back the bird was done. It was moist and delicious. Great item...I would recommend it to anyone who does any kind of camping.

The Camp Chef Camp Oven is extremely well insulated allowing you to bake more with less fuel. This insulation also makes the oven more difficult to cool down once a high temperature has been reached. For best results its best to use the included thermometer as a guide, the temperature control knob is only marked with a high and low indication, so a little trial and error will be needed to find the exact temperature you desire. If you find the oven getting too hot, open the oven door a bit to allow some hot air to escape. Like all ovens, the Camp Chef Camp Oven has different heat zones depending on rack height and location within the oven. A little trial and error will also be need to help find the optimal baking location in your oven and to know where heat zones exist.

Mine has kept going in pretty strong winds. How high do you have the flame? Mine will boil several pots of water before I need a new canister. Last time I brought snow to a boil 9 times at 5500 ft. And prior to that brought glacial runnoff to a boil the same amount of times at 11,000 ft. So something's got to be odd with yours.Good luck on it:)

They say your not supposed to use it indoors, but if you have proper ventilation indoors I would use it, if you have an exaust fan that's even better. But Please do not use in a enclosed area with out a window or vent.4 months, 2 weeks ago

I personally don't think so! The regulator is designed to keep a steady set pressure & flow of gas down stream of regulator to the burners, then you use the control nobs to adjust your flame. The regulator was designed for that portable size stove/oven. You can connect a propane tank that you use on barbeque outdoor grill, just buy the converter hose to to connect it to the regulator. I can't tell from the pictures, but if it is designed to use the 1 lb disposable propane bottles you can get a hose that connects to the large tanks and has a fitting on the other end that is the same as the small bottles.Try Bass Pro Shops!! :)

In these hard economic time's save your money. You can use the very same pans that you use at home as long as they fit. Just remember the thickness of the pans. The cast iron pots and pans are great and durable If you can afford to buy them, then that's all good.4 months, 2 weeks ago
