Camo Cloth Tape
the tape does leave a residue but I have used it for years and if you spray it down with WD 40 and let is set if wipes off It has saved many of my rifles as up here in Alaska it is always wet during hunting times and if you spray your gun it down with oil once in a while with the tape on it stops the rust I have used this for over 30 days in the bush with blued rifles with no rust I think it is worth the time it takes to clean

Tape it up
I bought this tape for my stainless steel barreled black powder rifle. I needed to tone down the bright finish on the barrel and the scope mounts so the tape seemed to be the perfect solution. As it turned out, it was easy to apply and form over all parts. It can be cut to various shapes to cover the smallest detail. I had enough tape on one roll to cover my black powder rifle and a pump shotgun. If the metal parts are cleaned with alcohol the tape is easier to apply and it sticks better.

Received my order today, and and the roll of cloth camo was with the shipment. I found the tape to be easy to use. I have used other camo tapes in the past to cover my Ruger red lable but by far this was the best ever used. The camo print was better than I expected, Hope I never set the gun down I may never find it again. Great camo . My next project is my 7mm rm. I will be purchasing another roll soon. I Have not had a chance to field test the camo in the rain ect so I can not give any other feed back . Dove season and duck season here in nw fl. Is just around the corne. Well see then how well it holds up.

camo cloth tape
I applied this camo tape product to a shotgun solely because the description stated, "This tape will leave no sticky residue". That is absolutely not the case! After being applied only for a short period of time, My gun was covered with glue residue! "Leaves no sticky residue", only after 2 hours of work and 1 bottle of Goo B Gone!! Very poor , misleading information! Would not recommend or use this camo tape ever again!!!!
