This product is terrible. It is sticky, hard to work around sharp edges and WILL leave a residue on your gun. I put it on my 3006 and as soon as I got to the stock I noticed that it did not mold as well as the Allen Company brand camo tape that I used on my 3030 did.
The difference is in the kind of tape. This is more like athletic tape where as the Allen Company brand is more like a medical tape that only sticks to itself.
You WANT to go with the Allen Company if you ever decide to take this tape off and clean your gun. If not you will be cleaning off all the dirt that is now embedded in the sticky reside that is embedded in every knook and cranny of your gun.
Another point is that the allen company brand is reusable as this is not.
I do not work for Allen Company or anything but seriously for the sake of saving you work time and resale value keeo this stuff away from your gun. I would rather use it on a tree stand or something similar that isn't going to be such an investment as guns are.
They may of meant no residue if removed immediatly but leave it on for a season, fire a few rounds and get that glue hot and I am sure that would void thier claim to no residue left behind.

Have used this product on tree climbers to cover the medal and on tree stands to deaden sound.

Excellent product and just enough tape to do one shotgun. Love this cloth tape instead of the vinyl tape! It sticks so much better and doesn't have that shine that I hate with vinyl.

I purchased this for my sons bantam 500 Mossberg 20ga to cover it up for turkey season. The tape worked fine and was just enough to cover the entire gun from sight to butt.
