Good for the money This bipod is a good value for the money. Easy to attach & is a solid fit on my AR. I gave it only 4 stars because it is made in China & I prefer items Made in the USA! June 22, 2012
Good dollar value I shoot mainly competition, and have three Harris bipods which I consider the top of the line I needed one more and the Harris was not available anywhere so I bought the Caldwell and it looks identical down to the last part, even the machineing marks. It seems to be just as good. Altho I have only used it six times I would recommend it to a friend, and it costs less. April 9, 2012
Great bipod I bought this bipod for my AR for varmint hunting. The only con I found was that the sling mount will loosen up in the field. A drop of blue Loctite, and that problem is fixed. I bought the 23" version and am very happy, it seems like it is made from light material, but it has stood up to some pretty rough abuse with no Ill affects. I will recommend this bipod to anyone. Good value I bought this product based on price. Was a little skeptical after having read some of the other reviews. After having used it, I can say that it does what it is supposed to. It's a steady rest and worked well off a bench. It did loosen up a little due to recoil, but this wasn't a huge problem and didn't effect accuracy. I would recommend this product to a friend. A:
it will not fit with that sling mount. there are sling mounts available that will attach where yours does that point down, if you swapped your stud for this kind, it would work.

No it just pivots so you can set it on uneven ground and still keep your gun level.
