awesome decision bought my son a savage axis 243 for christmas.he was only 8 years old and could not hold gun steady from shoulder but with this bipod from a seated position he could knock a one and a half inch bullseye out at 50 yards consistently...thanks bas pro for such a dependable and sturdy addition to his hunting rifle. worth it This bipod is mounted on my Savage 270. I went on 1 hunt so far. The bipod gives the extra stability and fast deployment. Spent the whole extra $5 to get the pivot(no brainer). This makes sure you are on target and supported even on uneven ground. Only drawback is it does get tangled in backpack straps, and digs in to my shoulder. November 22, 2012
Not worth the money Bought this to put on my M14 EBR in Afghanistan, I took it on one patrol and the thing simply would not stay on! When I got back to the COP I tried tightening it down more and had the same results on the very next patrol. The bar where the tension screw is had bent and on the slightest pressure the Bipod would simply detach itself. Definitely going to spend the money to get the Harris. May 22, 2010
Works Well I used the bi-pod stand on a Remington 770 300 mag. rifle. The stand was easy to attach and fits tight. The design is strong, and the tilt feature works well on uneven ground. The adjustable stand has enough range to cover all firing positions. The stand was a little on the expensive side, but works well. November 29, 2010

A:
it will not fit with that sling mount. there are sling mounts available that will attach where yours does that point down, if you swapped your stud for this kind, it would work.
