Rated 5 out of 5 by Big Was only a little more expensive than the smaller ones so I figured it was better for the money. Didn't really picture it being this large. It's pleanty long enough without even extending the legs. Would recommend getting a smaller one. I'd imagine with the legs extended it would be good for shooting while you're squating on the ground. Rated 4 out of 5 by Works good I bought this for my ar15 carbine just to see how well it works. The bipod is great and I love the way it functions and it seems to be holding up great. The only thing is if you want to mount it to and ar you will need a bipod adapter that mounts to a pictanny rail. I found another way to mount it by taking off the front sling loop and using the holes to mount the bipod in. It works well but it's not the right way. Overall though I really like the product. Rated 5 out of 5 by Good for the money I got this product for christmas 09 and put it on my Remington 700 SPS in 22-250,and it fit just nice and was very tight..I got the 13"-23" for coyote and predator hunting. While I havn't got to actually try it out on a hunt,I have used it just shooting, and it does feel solid and I am very pleased with, couldn't ask for more... Rated 5 out of 5 by Caldwell Bipod This bipod attached great to the Marlin XL7. All you need to do is make sure to "snap" it in to place so the bipod base rests against the stock. Push the sling swivel stud through the base of the bipod and then secure. October 20, 2009

A:
Yes. I'm currently using this bipod on a Savage 93r TR. There is a slight gap along the center, but still plenty of contact along the outer edges.

A:
No I do not think it would because of the action/cycle of the rifle. This does not mean that there is possibly a system on the market that WILL work. I just don't feel this would be a good choice for a pump action rifle

This should fit with great ease to your Savage. Depending on how high you want the rifle the Caldwell XLA Model Bipods should do a very nice job. I have mine set between 6-9", and I am very pleased with its perfomance.

A:
Probably not. The forestock does not appear long enough.

Though, if you have a sling swivel already installed, it will mount to that.
