This bipod attached great to the Marlin XL7. All you need to do is make sure to "snap" it in to place so the bipod base rests against the stock. Push the sling swivel stud through the base of the bipod and then secure.

I have been looking for a bipod for my Remington 700 for a while, but I did not want to spend $90-$100. When I saw this one I ordered it immediately. It arrived in the mail today so I tried it out on my rifle. No matter what I tried I could not get it to seat properly. It will attatch to the rifle, but there was about a 1/4" gap between the bipod and the stock. I tried it on two different rifles with two different type stocks and had the same problem. I will be returning it on Sunday.

Yes. I'm currently using this bipod on a Savage 93r TR. There is a slight gap along the center, but still plenty of contact along the outer edges.

Probably not. The forestock does not appear long enough.Though, if you have a sling swivel already installed, it will mount to that.
