Rated 1 out of 5 by Don' waste your money This bipod is terrible. legs will not stay up. release hits against barrel and will release legs. with both legs down it is not level. I returned it. Never even shot from it. September 24, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works great I bought this bipod for my Marlin model 795 .22 Rifle. It works great for target shooting. I'm very satisfied with the quality and ease of installation. It's a good value for the money. August 9, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Caldwell XLA Bipods This bipod was very easy to install. It took longer to get it out of the package than to install on a Savage 110/270and a Howa 1550/300WMG. The height adjustments are easy and smooth. On click of the button and the legs drop. I am very satisfied with this product. July 30, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Attached to my rifle in seconds. It is very durable. July 26, 2010

A:
Yes. I'm currently using this bipod on a Savage 93r TR. There is a slight gap along the center, but still plenty of contact along the outer edges.

A:
Yes it will as long as you have the sling stud.

A:
No I do not think it would because of the action/cycle of the rifle. This does not mean that there is possibly a system on the market that WILL work. I just don't feel this would be a good choice for a pump action rifle

This should fit with great ease to your Savage. Depending on how high you want the rifle the Caldwell XLA Model Bipods should do a very nice job. I have mine set between 6-9", and I am very pleased with its perfomance.

A:
Probably not. The forestock does not appear long enough.

Though, if you have a sling swivel already installed, it will mount to that.
