i like it very good for the price i had to grind a bit to get it over the sling stud,,now works good on my savage 204...rock chucks dont have a chance now June 17, 2011
good purchase The price was very good. I had some trouble mounting the bipod over my sling stud. The hole was too small at the sides. After about 30 minutes of cranking on the thumb screw and wobbling the bipod sideways, it popped on. It seems very solid and everything works well. I haven't shot with it yet, but think it will work well. May 6, 2011
bipod It works great for groundhog hunting & for deer hunting. December 28, 2010
Good Value Easy to install. Not as easy to use as a Harris. The indents on the legs limit the placement of the legs, as the stops will only "set" in the indents. The indents also make the diameter of the legs smaller & I suppose subject to breakage. Only time will tell. Legs do not spring back to original location like Harris legs either. Overall a good value, sturdy & stable. Next time I'll though I'll spend twice as much and buy a Harris. I don't want to risk that shot of a lifetime, even if this will work fine. November 22, 2010

Has anyone used these out of a deer blind? Also, any problems with installing one on a Cooper 243?

Thank you

A:
SKU 1593767 would be the best option for blinds. There is no guarantee that it will work out of any and all ground blinds due to the height being adjustable to 13”-23”.

This bipod attaches to the front Swivel stud of the firearm. Thank you.

Yes. I'm currently using this bipod on a Savage 93r TR. There is a slight gap along the center, but still plenty of contact along the outer edges.

No I do not think it would because of the action/cycle of the rifle. This does not mean that there is possibly a system on the market that WILL work. I just don't feel this would be a good choice for a pump action rifle

This should fit with great ease to your Savage. Depending on how high you want the rifle the Caldwell XLA Model Bipods should do a very nice job. I have mine set between 6-9", and I am very pleased with its perfomance.
