Good Value Easy to install. Not as easy to use as a Harris. The indents on the legs limit the placement of the legs, as the stops will only "set" in the indents. The indents also make the diameter of the legs smaller & I suppose subject to breakage. Only time will tell. Legs do not spring back to original location like Harris legs either. Overall a good value, sturdy & stable. Next time I'll though I'll spend twice as much and buy a Harris. I don't want to risk that shot of a lifetime, even if this will work fine. November 22, 2010
Caldwell Bipod The Bipod fit very well to my Remington Model 700 300. Magnum. Very tight up against the stock of the gun and works very well. Have used during target practice but not during a hunting situation yet. Look forward to using it in the morning. Definately look into getting this Bipod for your gun, for the money it can not be beat. November 19, 2010
Good for the money Good buy for the money. I should have gotten the next size up, but oh well. My only complaint is that when folding/unfolding the legs, its hard not to hit the release button so the legs often extend on accident. November 19, 2010
bipod easy to install, very easy to use, folds up nicely to get out of your way, lightweight, great working leg extensions, overall excellent product. November 2, 2010

A:
Probably not. The forestock does not appear long enough.

Though, if you have a sling swivel already installed, it will mount to that.

A:
I would say about 22 Oz. You can notice a slight difference when carrying the gun, but it is not enough weight that will cause you problems. It is nice that you can still attach your carrying strap to the bottom of the bipod for easy carrying.

I would guess six ounces empty. Loaded with 30-06 ammo its closer to a pound. Carrying in a pack dont even notice. Pocket you might notice the extra weight, but it still beats an extra clip.

I'm not familiar with your specific gun, but this item is designed to be attached to the stud provided for a sling. It should be fairly universal.
