Allows you to see and hear the impact! Double-spin design of Caldwell® Resetting Handgun Target includes three 3.5'' diameter targets. Easily portable. Bottom two swing out of the way when hit. Top target resets other two when hit. Heavy duty steel construction. For use with handguns up to .45 caliber.
I like the all one piece construction. Just pick it up and walk away. Built very heavy , no weak spots.Sets up in less than a minute.

Resetting?? Uh please explain
Can someone please explain to me how it resets? I have mounted this thing in 5 different ways, and I have yet to get the lower targets to move out of the way. They all just spin. The target also tends to fall down or move. No instructions with it that explains how it resets or tips. I read that you are not supposed to use copper jacketed rounds, but nothing in the package that says that. Seems durable, I only shoot copper jacketed round and it has been holding up OK. Otherwise, this is not a very well thought out product.

I love this target !! It is low to the ground but easy to transport. I shoot 9mm at it and it takes it every time. Cons- the stickers they give you as "targets" fall off easily even after the first shot so to fix this I have used bright orange spray paint and it works great. I have even hit the frame work and it too holds up well, so besides the Taget Stickes I give this a A+

performed better than expected
this was a great buy. purchased this to do some target shooting in a friends backyard. the package says to use only lead ammo, we did not see this till after a day of shooting. afterwards it was still in VERY good condition with minor dents from FMJ ammo (even with a .45 ACP) good practice to hit the non moving target and then try to hit it again while it swings. made of heavy metal and still works great.

I have a 357mag & 9mm using hollow point rounds. Would I be able to use this target for practice? and how far from the target should you stand. new to all of this. also are there extra targets in the kit?
No, Ive never actually seen one designed for both. Metal targets have specific caliber ranges which you should follow. 22 will bounce back almost everytime if you go with a steel target designed for centerfire handguns. The metal is too dense and the energy wont subside enough to fracture the round.
