The Caldwell® Lead Sled® Plus reduces recoil up to 95% while holding your gun on target. In preparation for an upcoming moose hunting trip, I purchased this rest to get the scope on my 300 weatherby mag dialed in. For those shooting heavy loads, I don't have to say how tiring the repeated absorbing of recoil of these weapons can be on ones shoulder. This is the ticket! I was sighted in no time and then fine tuned to put a 5 round group inside of 3 inches at 200 yards. This product actually makes shooting large caliber rounds painless especially if you're trying different loads and sighting in. This was an awesome purchase. Absolutely no buyers remorse on this one.

Good product - works as advertised. In lieu of the shot bags and bird shot, I recommend two 25-pound barbell weights which can be purchased at low cost from a used sports equipment store.

Purchased the Lead Slide a couple of weeks ago and used it to sight in my hunting rifle. Works great, but you'll need to purchase weight bags or some other weight source to provide the necessary weight to stabilize the slide. It's fairly heavy but needs the additional weight for stability.
