Fitting nearly any shotgun or rifle, the Lead Sled DFT uses Dual-Frame Technology to give sportsmen one of the best recoil reduction systems available for precise targeting and sighting. This shooting platform's dual frame alignment system gives users 22" of adjustment to match guns exactly. Dual frame design disperses recoil energy, while the sled's baffle and tray system disperses the weight better than ever. A filled bag cradles the stock as the butt rests securely in a thick, foam-filled pocket with a channeled bottom. Extremely fine windage and elevation adjustments can be made with your fingertips. Sighting in is easy and precise, thanks to 2-1/2'' of front elevation adjustment on smooth ball bearings and 2'' of fingertip elevation adjustment at the rear. Non-skid rubber-tipped feet prevent sled shift. 4'' x 11'' x 25''. Made in USA

So far I'm very pleased with this rest. I used my friend's DFT while sighting in my rifles and decided to get my own. It holds you rifle still so all you have to do is aim through the scope and keep a finger on the trigger. Not having to keep both hands on the gun eliminates a lot of gun movement for me. I would recommend buying the weight bags for extra weight to hold the rest still better. The rest still moves some after the shot where you'll have to fine tune it each time to get your crosshairs back on target but that's fine with me as long as it holds steady as I pull the trigger.

I shot 30 rounds before I discovered when I secured the rifle right before the shot the rifle rose half to one inch up. Dispite all the leveling and securing once I squeezed the rifle in tight to my shoulder it rose up. Have to go back now, ran out of ammo to sight it in one more time to my satisfication. It tighen my grouping but glad I was using my buddies rest and I didn't but this one. Spent 3 hours on the range with it.

Used this thing to sight in my rifle last year and it holds the rifle true and straight. If you miss after sighting in your rifle using this thing its human error. Not to mention it takes out the human error factor when you sight in your rifle which means less rounds fired just check and adjust after each shot, it shouldn't take many.
