For the price an excellent tripod for the field. Very light and compact and stable, at this point I recommend. I Will be curious as to how it holds up with excessive use and weather as for the clamps being made out of plastic.

The Dead Shot FieldPod is an excellent addition to a hunters arsenal of tools to use while hunting. I like the versility of the product in how it may be used to set up for different uses either in hunting or just target practice, just whatever. I would recommend this product to anyone who loves to shoot with any kind of rifle or shotgun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Valdera I waited 10 years for this product
I have a major problem to my 2 shoulders following a hockey accident. I couldn't support anymore my crosbow or my fire arm for hunting. I waited about 10 years for this kind of product so I could start hunting again and go to the firering club. I am so satisfied of the Caldwell DeadShot FieldPod that I bought one for my hunting companion who is also extremely satisfied of his new acquisition. It is light, sturdy, easy to use and especialy handy in a tight space like in a hunting tent. Thank you very much for your exceptional service to customer. I realy enjoy your Web page. I am sorry for the english wrighting, I am not used to it. .

Rated 5 out of 5 by BRADYTHEBEAST Best portable gun rest ever.
I bought this item looking for a dependable stable gun rest. IT IS THE BEST it only takes about if a minute or two to set up but it won't tip or fall it's a tripod stand. It can be adjusted from 20 inches to 42. Where the gun actually touches the rest can be adjusted up and down longer and closer. Over the shoulder compact gunrest. I took this product out for the first time Saturday, I didn't see anything then Sunday I shot a big 120 pound doe with a muzzleloader. Big deal right but I had iron sights and I beleive that if I didn't have this product I would of missed that 167 yard shot. I guess the only bad thing about this product is that the highest you can abjust it to is a sitting position. But unless you are in a really tall hunting chair this adjusts right to it.
