This handy accessory captures and holds around 30 empty .223 cartridges straight from your modern AR-15. This wire frame and mesh fabric brass catcher attaches to the forearm of any AR platform gun with hook 'n' loop webbing. The wire frame holds the shape of the catcher, allowing the brass to enter bag without disrupting the bolt function or the gun's cycle. Haven't gotten a chance to use it yet, which is why I only gave it 4 stars, but the product is well constructed and sturdily built, fits on my rifle nicely and securely and very easy to attach and the simplicity of design doesn't give me any doubts that it performs as designed. If you reload your brass, or have a friend who does, this simply device is a must.

It actually works great. What it doesn't catch, not much, it knocks down making it easy to find.

Easy to install, works great. Only downfall is that spent cartridges are hot enough to melt the nylon and stick to the bag.
