Great Line For Such A Small Price I have previously used Stren XL and Stren Super Knot lines with good success. Then I read the reviews about the Cajun Red Cast and decided to give it a try, so much line for such a cheap price it was worth a try. Cajun Red Cast is awesome! Its limp, has little memory, casts great and is stronger than advertised. I think people who had problems with it had it spooled incorrectly on their spinning reels. Remember if your spinning reel spins clockwise than the line coming off the spool must be coming off clockwise when you load it on. Any line will birdsnest if its loaded on wrong. Even a new reel "pre-spooled" could have the line on "backwards" if the person loading it on the reel didn't care about what he is doing. This line is just too good for the price a "best buy" in fishing line. Great quality for very little money. Use the money you'll save on those overpriced lines you used to buy on that new lure instead. January 2, 2009
bad choice i bought the 14lb line for my baitcaster... what a mistake.. the 1st time out i was drift fishing , i thought it worked great, till the 2nd trip out when i was actually throwing a lure, backlash after backlash. i got home tied it up and unspooled it across the field , and spooled it up tight... didnt solve the problem cut the stuff off and spooled back up with stren. never had a problem with this reel b4 backlashing with a 3/8oz jighead . will not ever buy cajun line again. Interesting Concept I was frankly dubious about the claim that the line would vanish in the water, but on a recent trip to Lake Comedero in Central Mexico I witnessed first hand a number of trophy sized largemouths caught from the gin clear water using this line. After returning from that trip, I purchased some and have had excellent results with it. Very strong (I used the 17 lb test) and the above water visibility is extremely valuable in situations where you need to "line watch". March 31, 2008
missed it by that much Today I missed the Oklahoma state record for small mouth by a little over a pound. In case you have never caught one, Smallmouth bass NEVER quit fighting, EVER! Evidently this line doesn't either. A 6+ lb smallmouth on 6 lb line, for a 5 minute war, I never thought I'd touch that fish. However I landed it, weighed it, measured it, photographed it, and released it, and this line never blinked. Very little memory, and it outcasts my buddies identical rig spooled with Sensor. Also while I was fishing this hot chick in a bikini came over and asked about my line, she had never seen red line before. A chance at a record smallie and a chance at a small bikini, try this line. Yes, it is nearly invisible in 3 feet of water or less. It's great for spooky fish like bass crappie and trout.

I DONT KNOW IF IT IS REALLY INVISIBLE UNDER WATER BUT IT IS HARD TO SEE THE LINE IN THE WATER. I DONT THINK BASS MIND THE LINE COLOR AS LONG AS YOU HAVE WHAT THEY WANT TO EAT.
