Been using this line for last 2 years and exceeds all my expectations and at a good price. Works great on all my reels. No matter if in Brackish or fresh water it works and we catch fish. Invisible, I don't know, but it works.

I am not convinced that this line is invisible in the water. I am some what selective about my line choice and I only use mono but I tried this line at the suggestion of a friend. I was not impressed nor was I disappointed. I used the rest of the line to spool a reel I had given to my God son who has recently gotten into fishing he has not complained about it. I think it is a decent line at a reasonable price point.

I was looking for a cheap mono line to use as backing for expensive fluorocarbon and braid. I wanted something that was very noticeable in appearance and texture, that was completely unlike my main line. This looked very good.
I applied heavy doses of line conditioner to the main spool and while spoiling up. Line memory is very nasty. Nothing I could do to this line would hold down the memory. But, I didn't buy it for a main line so I cant complain to much. I would not recommend it for a main line.
When backing fluorocarbon or braid, this is top notch. Line lays very flat on the spool, making for a great base to start your main line. The red completely disappears. When combining the two lines, if you use a modified albright knot, it lays nice and flat against backing. If you pull fairly hard you can get it to dig in and no humps will result. Again I really like this for a backing. Price is very good and you get decent amounts of line.
Biggest reason I went with a red backing was due to this. If you make an extra long cast or are trolling you can immediately tell how much line is left. For example, when using #12 mono and #30 pound braid, you have approximately 140 yards of line on your line. If you have 100 yards of main line and start to see red, you have appox 30-40 yards of line left.
As for the strength of the line, I hooked into a 4 pound striper trolling and ended up letting out drag coming to and beyond my knot. Both lines and knot held up very well.
As stated before, I would not recomend this as a main line. There are much better quality mono lines on the market, but if your looking for a line to fit the need I needed to fill, this is it.

I purchased this line in 6# test and it works great. it really does disappear. It has low memory and casts like a bullet. the only problem is that I lost the spool and I only got it on one reel. I will buy more.
